interesting day so far:
1) dealing w/tech support issues on two fronts, one seemingly resolved, the other waiting to hear from programmer... *sigh*
2) had OJ (and yeah, a sausage egg mcmuffin, but just one!) for breakfast.
3) apparently they're making sure no-one gets OT in the coming month or two? I don't really have that problem at this time of the year, but the assessors have to cut back to no more than 40 hours. How that's gonna make it at the end of the year when we have to bust ass to catch up??? I understand it's due to trying to make sure we don't have to pay out money that's not coming in, but... it's just more strain down the line! ugh. oh well.
4) umm, i think that's it. Oh it's fucking HUMID! And I don't particularly like that in combination with this almost 90 degree heat we've been having. Oh well.
5) looking into pygame for programming graviton, now. still not quite sold on it, but...
well here's what I want:
a) NO POINTERS! b) FULL SCREEN EASILY c) CROSS PLATFORM d) RESPONSIVE/FAST e) PREFERABLY COMPILED OR EASY TO PACKAGE TO RUN ALONE f) CLOSER TO C SYNTAX THE BETTER
And nothing fits that criteria exactly. So, I guess it's either learn python more, deal with pointers, or not have a good fast responsive full screen system (processing).
I'd really like a C-syntaxy language with whitespace (like python) without pointers. Someone invent that, please. |
